Ramya and Ajya

Ajya (13) and Ramya (12) live with their parents Lingayya and Latha, who are unemployed farmers. Despite their efforts, it is difficult to meet the needs of their family and makes raising children more challenging.

Ajya and Ramya are not in school at this time because it was hard for their parents to get them there. Both of these children help their parents in farming and at home, but their desire is to go to school. Ajya and Ramya are growing up faster than they should have to in order to help keep their household running.
